Bishop Amat travels to Chaminade this Friday in a crucial game that will determine the Mission League champ.

Last week, the Lancers defeated the Bishop Alemany Warriors 42-22 after running back Damien Moore rushed for 155 yards and one touchdown.

The Lancers have now won five straight league games after starting the season 0-4 in their non-league schedule.

Meanwhile, Chaminade defeated Sherman Oaks Notre Dame last week 40-35 after a pick six. They are now 8-1 and 5-0 in league.

Chaminade is ranked No. 7 in the state and their only loss is to the No. 2 ranked team in California, St. John Bosco.

The Celts are led by three-star running back Andrew VanBuren who rushed for 100 yards on 26 carries against Notre Dame.
