Golf remains undefeated despite No. 1 golfer’s absence

ROSEMEADÂ — The Lady Lancers were victorious over St. Paul at Whittier Narrows
No. 2 golfer Diana Delgado led the Lady Lancers golf team to a dominant victory over St. Paul at Whittier Narrows Golf Course on Wednesday.
Despite not having their No. 1 golfer Sharon Chen, the Girls Golf team was still victorious over St. Paul 236-299 with Delgado shooting a 37.
Junior Veronica Trujillo helped the team with a 47 and captains Audrey Parayno and Alyssa Ruiz contributed to the team with a 49 and a 51. Sophomore Maya Payan shot a 52, which made the final score Bishop Amat 236 and St. Paul 299.
The golf team is 3-0 in league and 4-0 for overall.
They play away and take on Pomona Catholic next Wednesday.
