Sophomore Havier Zaragoza led Bishop Amat to a 3-2 victory over Westlake in overtime to advance to CIF round one in their wildcard match on Wednesday night.

Zaragoza led Bishop Amat with two goals and Diego Payan scored the game-winning goal with seconds left in overtime.

The Bishop Amat Lancers advanced to round one on Friday afternoon but fell to Redlands East Valley, 4-0, which ends their CIF playoff run.

The Lancers went overall 10-11-3.
