The winter rally sparked Bishop Amat’s competitive atmosphere with entertaining games like dizzy-spin and hula hoop pass with each grade level competing against each other. The third rally of the school year was held Jan. 17 in the Carroll Center.
The dance team performed to a mash-up consisting of “Turn Down for What” and “Animals.” Pep squad closed out the rally with the year cheer and Alma mater in which the seniors disappointingly did not participate in.
The highlight of the rally was the three-point shot made by senior John-Marcon Duque worth $90 after his name was drawn from a raffle.
The dizzy-spin game consisted of spinning around a baseball bat according to the students grade level and then attempting to shoot a free-throw. This game was one of the crowd’s favorite games and was won by freshman Jeremy Searcy.
The rally’s overall winner was the freshmen with second place being a tie between the juniors and sophomores and seniors in last place.
