LA PUENTE–The Bishop Amat dance team and pep squad hosted a youth clinic on Saturday to prepare four to 14 year olds for Youth Spirit Night at the football game Friday.
Youth Spirit Night is a night where Amat’s performance groups invite surrounding elementary and middle schools to participate in a halftime show performance.
The young girls had been preparing for the Youth Spirit Night for two weeks to perfect their debut performance at the Lancers football game Friday night versus the La Mirada Matadores.
At the clinic, the girls learned new technique and dance moves. Clarrise Dominguez said it was good that her sister gets a chance to start dancing early.
The Bishop Amat dance team members also said they had a good time.
“I had a happy experience and it was a lot of fun to work with all the kids,” said senior dance Captain Annelissa Cuenca.
