Bishop Amat sophomores and varsity baseball players, Gabriel Guerrero and Daniel Albidrez have both helped propel the Bishop Amat baseball team to new heights.
Both Guerrero and Albidrez have been playing the sport of baseball since they were three years old and have a love for the game. From Guerrero’s older brothers playing and father coaching he has always been around the sport.
As for Albidrez his father is one of his biggest supporters pushing him to be the best he can be. For both of these players baseball means a lot to them.
“My goal is to hopefully go to D1 college, get a scholarship after highschool, hopefully get drafted,” Guerrero said when talking about his goals for his future in the sport of baseball.
These players have big dreams and goals.
“My goal is to make it to college baseball, hopefully one day make it to the MLB,” Albirdez said when asked about his goals for his future in the sport.
The impact these players have on the field is profound as Guerrero is leading the team in batting average and on base percentage.
“I just love that I’m able to be with my friends and have fun,” Albidrez said when asked what he loves most about the sport.
To Albidrez and Guerrero this sport means so much to them and they have a bright future ahead.
