Boys soccer took home the win on the road against the La Salle Lancers with a score of 3-1.
Two of the goals came from player of the game, junior Julio Ruiz assisted by Michael Zepeda and Maximus Ugalde.
“I felt good going into the game, I had a good time watching the junior varsity game before our game with the team,” Ruiz said. “And after I got player of the game I felt pretty good because my family was proud of me.”
All the action was not just coming from Ruiz though. The other goal was scored by sophomore Alger Calderon assisted by fellow sophomore Michael Luna.
They stand on top of league in first with a record of 3-1.
The boys have another Lancer matchup as they take on La Serena High School on Saturday at 12 o’clock at California High School.
