Boys Basketball falls to Cathedral in the season finale
The Lancers lost last night’s game with a score of 76-55 against Cathedral. The first half of this game was pretty exciting as both teams went back and forth on the scoreboard.
Every time Elijah Ponder came into the game, the Lancers had momentum and made the game competitive against the first place team in league.
After halftime, the Phantoms closed it out with a 21-point lead which was the largest margin of defeat for the Lancers this season.
Bishop Amat ended up third in the Del Rey League standings in back of La Salle and Cathedral.
As the regular season ends, the Lancers prepare for the Division 3 playoffs that will start next Wednesday at TBD.
Bishop Amat hopes to have a huge playoff run and get a chance to play for the Division 3 championship in a few weeks.
