Bishop Amat wins a nail-biter over Bishop Alemany on a gutsy 2-point conversion

The Lancers of Bishop Amat came up BIG against Bishop Alemany last Friday night with a final score of 25-24. Cal-commit Damien Moore got the call in the final minutes to win the game and he delivered. He finished the game with 27 carries for 170 yards and a touchdown.

AJ Souza had a great game Friday as he finished with two touchdowns from sophomore quarterback Tobin O’Dell who also had a great game. Souza caught the biggest touchdown of the game late in the 4th quarter for the Lancers to have a chance to go for two.

Quarterback Miller Moss came up short as he was 14 of 25 passing for 234 yards and one interception. Running in the shadows of Damien Moore, sophomore Floyd Chalk rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns for the Warriors.

With this win against Alemany, the Lancers are now 5-1 and in control of the Mission League title. Bishop Amat will face the Eagles of Chaminade at Kiefer Stadium this Friday at 7pm.
